Valentines Gift

I made this split flap display for my girlfriend for valentines day. One day we were walking in a store when she pointed out a split flap clock and how cool it was. I looked at it for a few seconds and decided I was going to make one for her. It was a very fun process and taught me a lot. The main challenge was getting all the tooth picks into the drum while keeping the ones in the back from falling out.
